Not only was this class rewarding and fun, but Visual Concepts taught by Dennis Corrigan was one of those classes where it was easy to get lost in your own work.
Throughout the semester I made a series of projects that don’t agree at first, but in some way, are in unison to each other.
His class took me out of my comfort zone as I found a new style I liked which involve thick lines and my own thoughts.
Dennis’ class was the most seamless when it comes to terms of switching to online, we already knew the projects and I knew my series would get done without any stress.
Using limited colors and my own head, I was able to complete these projects despite not being in a classroom environment.
This class taught me to group things that don’t make sense, use different shades and sizes, to make it seem as if these objects really do belong together.
