Recently I did some reminiscing from my 3D Design course I took last spring. It was definitely my favorite course I took from Foundation Year. I think some of my best work came from that 3D Design class and it makes me happy every time I think of the course! One assignment required motion and movement with the use of wood and it was by far my favorite assignment. At first I had no idea what I wanted to do or where to start but once my creative juices started flowing I felt positive about the project.

I came up with the idea to create a whirligig, which is simply an object that spins around in some sort of fashion. I thought about making a penguin since they are my favorite animals but then I got the idea to make my own bird, which is an African Grey. And, I must say this whirligig is a spitting image of him!
