Clubs/Involvements: Marywood Women’s Tennis Team, Campus Ministry “Crew” Leader & SEARCH Team, Delta Epsilon Sigma, Kappa Gamma Pi, Zeta Omicron Kappa Pi National Art Honor Society, and CMYKlub (Graphic Design Club)

Current Occupation: This past February, I left my full-time design job to pursue my dream of being a freelance graphic designer. My two businesses, Juneberry Creative and Just Love Prints are blossoming, and I am excited to share them with the world! When I’m not working with clients at, you can find me designing inspirational artwork at I love being able to work digitally, but also classically with drawing and painting.

1) What was your favorite part about Marywood?

My favorite part about Marywood was being able to grow creatively, artistically, and spiritually in such a supportive environment. The teachers, faculty, and religious at Marywood really want to see you succeed in all areas of life. That’s a great feeling.

2) Any advice for current art students at Marywood?

Find your passion and run with it. If you start out liking one subject and realize you like another subject more, don’t be afraid to pursue it wholeheartedly.

3) How did your art education at Marywood help your career?

Receiving constructive criticism regularly during class critiques definitely laid the foundation for learning how to work with clients in the real world.

4) What is your favorite part about your career?

My favorite part about my job is being able to help clients brand and market their passion!

5) What is your most and least favorite design software?

Favorite: Adobe Illustrator
Least Favorite: Adobe Dreamweaver

UNDERGRADUATE: Marywood’s graphic design program incorporates the study of design and type, conceptual development, design history, research, studio technique, and strategies for problem-solving. Class critiques and discussions are emphasized. Students will explore web design, interactive design, publication design, package design, corporate identity, typography and self promotion. During the junior and senior years, students will apply their knowledge and skills through internships and real design projects.
