Working in 3D is not something I have much experience with, but it’s definitely something I have so much fun with! Referring to my ongoing project of creating an amusement park for General Illustration, part of my assignment is to create a 3D amusement park ride. For my ride I made a mini rollercoaster.

For this project, I used wooden skewers that I cut up and painted, plenty of wood glue, and a hot wheels car with air dry clay! Very wonky looking, but again I had so much fun working on it!
The skewers were the most tedious part, as I had to cut and sand each little part. The real hardest part was gluing everything together especially the rising ramp! For that part I glued three rails together and rested them on an upside down cup so they would dry properly.
I think trying out new mediums is always super important because you end up learning new tricks and u may even find your new favorite medium to work with!!
Hope you all have a wonderful week!
