Art Faculty Spotlight

Faculty Guest Blogger: Sue Jenkins

Sue Jenkins: In addition to teaching and advising art students, the art faculty at Marywood University continuously develop their own aesthetic visions through personal and commercial creative projects. Many of our faculty members have shown their work in regional, national, and international exhibitions. In addition, several have published articles, books, scholarly papers and online training courses, and many have been featured in numerous publications, including Artists Magazine, Art in America, Fiber Arts, Ceramic Monthly, Metalsmith, American Craft, Print, Communication Arts, Photoshop User, Layers, AIGA Eye on Design, and Step by Step.

Our faculty members are committed, caring, and creative

Each month one of our faculty writes a guest blog post here on Where Creativity Works to share about a recent or upcoming success regarding exhibitions, grants, scholarships, commissions, research, publications, presentations, curation, or other activities or observations related to your career as a working professional in the arts. We do this not only because it’s our passion but because we think it’s important to expose our students to the kinds of things are possible for professional working artists. When we dream big, we have a better chance of realizing those dreams!
