Local Pottery Class

ME at the WHEELSadly my time here at Where Creativity Works is coming to an end soon, but before I go I wanted to tell you guys about an awesome Christmas gift I received!

I’ve been itching to get back onto the wheel and feel the clay between my fingers, and everyone around me knows how much clay has become part of who I am. Knowing this, my lovely mother paid for me to take a weekly class at a local pottery studio as my Christmas gift. I don’t know much about the studio yet, other than it is independently owned and in someone’s home. I was originally hoping to get a studio membership somewhere; that way I can independently make what I want, and go whenever I please. Unfortunately, there are no studios with that option available near me, so a class will do for now. I start the class tonight and it’s every Monday from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. I’m not entirely sure what the class is—whether it is a wheel throwing intensive- for beginners, advanced, or what. So we’ll see how it goes.

No matter what, I’m excited to touch clay soon! It’ll be great to meet other locals who have the same passion for clay that I do!
