Wednesday, March 27th, 2019, Marywood University is hosting the First Annual Career Expo from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. Marywood students, alumni and non-Marywood students are all invited to register for this event here on the Marywood University website. Employers for jobs or internships, and graduate schools are welcome to register as well, on the same site.

It’s the perfect place for students to network with potential employers for jobs or internships, or search for a graduate school. Employers will be here conducting interviews and accepting applications and resumes. Business attire is required, so make sure to wear your best. For Marywood students or alumni who need more formal attire, they can go to the Career Closet. Which will be located in the Learning Commons, room 342 in the Career Development Center.

There will also be multiple events available for Marywood students and alumni to attend leading up to the day of the expo, to make sure students are prepared. The three events available are Resumania, Dress to Impress and Mock Interviews. Resumania is where students can touch-up on their resumes and have them reviewed. Clothing is super important to personal presentation, so Dress to Impress will help students find the perfect business attire. The last event is the Mock Interviews, which will help with communication skills, and give an opportunity to practice having an interview.

Make sure you get registered, you won’t want to miss any of these events especially the expo. Once you register, you will get an email about the special events leading up to the Career Expo.
