The holidays are a time of giving and for those who are like me, I like to give creative gifts that I make myself.
Last year at one of Marywood’s events, they gave away ceramic mugs set up with sharpies for students to enjoy. After the creations were made, we would bake the mugs at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
The possibilities with making a mug for someone are endless – you can make the designs meaningful for yourself or for whoever the mug is going to. In my set, I gave holiday mugs with designs I found online with mugs I bought at Walmart for 99¢!
These gifts are simple and always appreciated! Just be sure not to put them in the dishwasher!
