Fall Semester Incoming

Hey everyone! I hope you all are doing well and are ready for a great semester! It has been a very busy couple of weeks, with work, moving into my new apartment, preparing for classes to start, and settling into my new surroundings. Needless to say, I haven’t gotten the opportunity to do much of anything creative. Though I did take some photos when I was feeling the nostalgia of being in my hometown, knowing I would be leaving soon. Here’s one of the photos I took:

There’s nothing like a sunset on the water and dinner with family to top it off. So much of my artistic inspiration stems from the essence of my hometown, so I was excited to incorporate some elements from the summer into my work. Luckily, the first day of the fall semester is a full-on ceramics day for me! I’ll be sure to sketch out some ideas and memories from the summer to spark ideas for future me, so maybe I’ll include those in my next post. I’m so excited just to be back in a creative environment again.

Well, I hope you enjoyed the post this week, even though it was short. I promise I’ll have more content to share now that I’m getting back into the studio! Have a great week, everyone!
