Final Camping Trip

Hello everyone! This past weekend my family and I decided to camp out one last time before we head back to school. We wanted to have one last weekend where we could do a little bit of everything at the farm instead of just one activity at a time.

For this to happen we started to camp out Thursday night, well I should say my family started to camp that night. I showed up Friday night to camp due to other commitments.

I didn’t expect to accomplish as many activities as we did this weekend. But I’m not upset about that, I am happy that we had the opportunity to have these activities as a family one last time before school starts up again in its respected way.

Each day this weekend was very eventful. On Friday when I got to the farm, we immediately went and found a mud hole to drive the quad through over and over again. We went through the mud until we were happy with how muddy we got. Disclaimer though, we have a camper with a shower, so it wasn’t to bad to get clean up because we could use hot water. Once we were all cleaned up from mud riding, we split up. Some of us played badminton until really late and some sat around the fire roasting marshmallows for s’mores.

Saturday was more of a relaxing day compared to Friday. We went fishing, rode the quad (I stopped multiple times to pick the black berries off of the bushes along the quad path through out the day also), and roasted marshmallows again. So we had time to recuperate from the activities from the day before.

Sunday, well that didn’t happen yet, as I am writing this blog Saturday night while I’m still out in nature! So I am going to share with you our plan for the day. Sunday morning we are going to wake up early and get the horses ready to go on a quick ride before it gets to hot out, because they can overheat easily. After we take the horses for a ride we are going to brush them out and put them back in the pasture. Later in the day we are going to get out our homemade slip and slide out, since that’s the only way we stay cool up here at the farm.

This week I am going to share with you some of the photographs I took between Friday and Saturday. Next week I am going to show you the photographs that I took while riding horses Sunday morning.

That’s all for this week! Stay safe! Stay Healthy! I’ll talk to you all next week!
