In a recent post I takes about making a hollow ring of clay and turning it into a pitcher. The project is finally finished and I loved how it turned out. I used several glazes for different parts of the piece. Of course glazes can be unpredictable when they are fired because of where the piece is placed in the kiln. The greens in my pitcher have variation in color and I like how they turned out.
I decided to make another pitcher just like this one but bigger. It was already bisque fires and I glazed it. When I was glazing it, a piece broke off so I’m hoping to fix it once it’s out of the final firing. I also used a different type of glaze and I’m excited to see how it turned out.
