Hello again everyone! Fall break was a ton of fun! I got the chance to travel to Scottsdale, Arizona which is very close to Phoenix. While I was there, I had a lot of fun finally seeing some wild cacti. I have always loved cacti and use the mini ones as decor. Being able to see a real one in its natural habitat was such a cool experience.
Besides hiking around, I had a lot of fun taking photos of them so I thought I’d share with you.
I took a lot of these photos as I hiked Camelback mountain which was another awesome experience. I love hiking, but the differences between hiking in PA and AZ are very interesting. We climbed a 2,700 ft mountain in a mile. I felt like I was rock climbing most of it, which was super fun. I was a bit nervous, but the reward of seeing these cacti, made it worth it!
Here are photos of the mountain we climbed:
As you can tell by the photos it wasn’t the easiest climb, but was definitely an experience I will never forget!
Arizona, you were beautiful. I promise I will return! Next time I’ll remember to bring my camera, so I can take even more beautiful photos.
Great post – thanks for sharing!
Wow your pictures are beautiful!
