Gnome Improvements

I recently was able to visit my grandmother for the first time since Covid, which was an amazing opportunity. While my family was there, I asked her about her garden gnomes. I’ve noticed them in her yard over the years and always thought they were adorable, but after a few decades of protecting her garden they’d gotten very faded and dirty. She agreed to let me repaint them for her so I packed them in the car and took them home with us! I cleaned off a few layers of dirt and moss, sanded down the rough patches, and stripped off as much of the faded paint as I could. I also repaired some of the chipped pieces, gave them new coats of paint, and sprayed them with outdoor sealant. Here is the before and after photos of the gnomes- and I am glad to say they are now ready to keep protecting the garden 🙂
