Not only do I love to be creative in my field of study which is graphic design but sometimes I just love to make crafts!

One of my favorite places to look for creative craft ideas is Pinterest. I will admit I love pinning! I could look at Pinterest for hours and would not get bored. Recently I have been looking at different ideas for Mason jars. And I have come across some very cute and easy projects that I am in the middle of doing.

My mom needed a present for a bridal shower and the people getting married love Disney. So while I was on Pinterest one day I came across a very cute idea that I am in the middle of creating. I’m turning tall mason jars into Mickey and Minnie Mouse. And it’s very simple to make. I went to Michael’s, the craft store, and the mason jars were on sale so I picked up a few. I picked up an extra bottle of acrylic paint, a piece of thin wood (to make the ears), and some ribbon to make a bow for Minnie. Below is a picture of my process so far. I can’t wait to see how they turn out!
