Marywood Art Galleries

Although the school year is done, Marywood is still open and has plenty to take part in. Besides taking summer classes, one can go to the gym, art galleries, art studios, library, summer camps, and more. You can experience Marywood and much of what it has to offer because the campus is operational year round. The art galleries are an important part of this experience and are often overlooked.

As a Marywood art gallery assistant, I am aware of all the effort and time that is given to the galleries to make them enjoyable.  Currently in the Mahady Gallery’s show is the “Graduate Exhibition.” Three talented Marywood graduate students, Laura Alexander, Mary Sadauckas, and Kristie McMahon, have their artwork on display. The media displayed includes ceramics, jewelry, sculpture, and paintings. Their artworks’ ability to hold beauty, intricacy, and variety is a reflection of Marywood’s art department and what the students are taught. Click here to learn more.

Please come and visit the Marywood art galleries! This exhibit will be open until June 5th.
