Last week I got the opportunity to speak about Arts Administration and my time spent as the Gallery Director at Pink Arrow Arts Gallery!

The whole experience was very fun and gave me the chance to let students know about the different options that come with a career in the arts. It was interesting to see what the students knew about Arts Admin (typically just “art”) and inform them of the many, many different paths they could take. Only a few people were a little interested in pursuing a career in the arts, and only one was interested in the arts admin side of arts. But I’m glad I went and was able to talk about it at all!

In terms of my solo exhibit coming up, I have begun working on the very last piece and will be documenting how I go about framing in my next post!

I hope everyone had a good fall break!
