This past Saturday I got to see all of my hard work, over these last two semesters, pay off. My senior exhibition was an amazing experience that I won’t forget. There was so much stress and late nights that I thought would never end. I felt like I wouldn’t finish in time but I was determined to get to my goal no matter what. Now it’s like a heavy weight has been lifted from my shoulders and a proud feeling has replaced it.

I took a long time to decide on a senior project that would reflect my major in sculpture but my focus in jewelry. Steampunk was the perfect genre to merge these two subjects. Over the last several months I posted about my work for my senior show but now it’s finally come together. I have lots of photos of my work and also one of my artist statement. I felt it would be too much to type it out in a post. I’m super excited to share this with everyone who’s been following my journey.
