Last week I wrote about the goals I had for this summer and some of the projects I hoped to start. This past week I got the opportunity to mess around with some spray paint and canvas. The final result turned out pretty well and I couldn’t wait to show the finished piece. It was extremely simple to do because all you need are some leaves and branches that you can find in your own back yard. By laying the leaves on the canvas and spraying over them you are left with something amazing. The best part about using these organic stencils to spray paint is that none of your results will be the same. The combinations are endless and how you use color will determine the way the shapes play with the eye. This project is perfect because it’s fast and easy but it looks like a lot of effort was put into it.
