I’ve always been passionate for cartoons, specifically POKÉMON! During this time of lockdown I have found time to create art of my favorite anime creatures.

My favorite Pokémon is Jirachi, and I have a tiny little plush of it that you’ll see at the end of this post!

First I want to create a background fitting to my Pokémon!

Once I create my night sky, which originally I was just putting paint directly on the canvas, I find myself starting to sketch the outline of the character I’m making and then going over it with a few coats of white paint.

Then the fun begins, using a few coats of the corresponding colors and finally outlining it with a sharpie, I have my own Pokémon in its own habitat!

The plushie on the top is the best inspiration I’ve had in awhile! I hope if you love cartoons you won’t feel ashamed to make art of them too!
