Perry Haas is an American potter from Chicago. Haas has been working in ceramics since 2003. He found wood firing through his teachers early on and learned about the process through his own interest. Haas surrounded himself with people and resources to enrich his learning and focused particularly on the wood firing of ceramics. As part of his experience in Utah Perry also studied in China at the Jingdezhen Ceramics Institute for a year under a master ceramic artist.

Haas’ work is very organic and focused around the combination of form and glaze which he is able to achieve with a wood fired kiln.
