Printmaking from Home

What a strange time to be alive. As we are urged to practice social distancing and stay home as much as possible we have to adjust and try to find a new sense of normalcy.

Social distancing at a time like this is important to help stop the spread of COVID-19. However, that doesn’t mean you are restricted to being inside your house 24/7.

You should spend some time outside! Go for a walk, go on a run, sit on your porch and enjoy the sunshine, rain, or whatever the weather is like outside. Along with spending some time outside, you should also take some time to be creative.

If you have paper and some paint, any kind of paint, laying around your house then printmaking at home is a breeze. Remember when you go outside to keep an eye out for textured leaves. You can apply paint on the surface of the leaves, press them down on a piece of paper, and there you have it, a print!
