Rachel’s Cafe and Creperie, Lancaster

Hello again everyone! Over spring break I went down the Lancaster to visit some family. This visit gave me the opportunity to highlight my godmother and I’s breakfast spot, Rachel’s Cafe and Creperie. Not only are the crepes delicious, the exterior and interior make anyone who walks in feel like they’ve traveled to Paris.

I’d really like to call out the mural painted on the side of the building, featuring the Eiffel Tower, and many floral designs. This colorful mural is the product of a collaboration of seven artists from the area, who work with the Friendship Art Gallery & Studio.

“Non-profit creative arts studio for adult artists, 18 years of age and older, with intellectual disability and autism celebrating personalities and talents through free expression and collaboration.”

This organization helps creatives with disabilities and mental handicaps to find their voices through the art they create. This mural was a work of positivity that everyone in the community who walks by can enjoy

Rachel’s Cafe & Creperie doesn’t stop with the mural, on the inside, the space is decked out in all sorts of Paris-esque pieces and notes of France.

As always, I highly recommend checking this are out for yourselves, but this one is quite a drive to see. I hope that I was able to bring a piece of Lancaster to you! If you ever travel to the area, this adorable little spot is a delight for all who find it.
