Random Wood-Burning

This week I moved back home for the summer, and wanted to start wood-burning again but I did not have any wood and my dad kept forgetting to bring me home some from his job. So basically to entertain myself (when I should of been unpacking my stuff) I made some crafts for my hamster. I made a ladder, fences, a swing, and a tunnel out of Popsicle sticks and wood-burned some designs into it. They look really cute in her cage but they all can’t fit.

After I had nothing else simple to make my hamster, I bothered my dad and he found a random piece of wood in our garage. I did not know what I really wanted to do, so I was just having fun with the different wood-burning tips at first and tried to figure out how to make soft curves. Because of this I decided to wood-burn a flower since they are soft and round. Unfortunately it did not turn out how I wanted it to. I still like the design of the flower but I am going to try to repeat this flower a few times until I know how to use the tool right.
