Recent Photographs

Hello everyone! I hope all is well. This week I am going to share some of the recent photographs I have taken. As mentioned in a previous blog, my one professor wanted us to take a photo a day and post it to our Instagram.

I take photographs everyday, but I forget to post them to my Instagram most days. So I’m a little behind with sharing my photographs. Some of my photographs I take intentionally and others I see something random that I like and I take the photograph.

Personally, I enjoy wondering and snapping pictures. Here are a couple photographs of me just snapping when I see something that stands out to me.

Most of the photographs above were taken on my phone. I always have my phone on me, so I find myself taking way to many pictures, but enjoying it at the same time. This assignment given by my professor is one of my favorite ones. It pushes me to take more pictures than I already do, to take photographs of objects that I normally wouldn’t, and to crop/zoom in an ways that I wouldn’t before.

For instance, cows eyes are really creepy up close. I’ve been around them my whole life, but I never paid that close attention until that picture above. The same goes for the wooly bear, the up close picture shows its head, and I’m blown away by how it looks.

This project has pushed me, and for that I’m thankful. It’s honestly been one of the highlights in my life recently, especially with COVID. It’s allowed me to get out and take photographs I normally wouldn’t take in my everyday life, around the farm, and my house.

That’s all for this week! Stay safe and healthy! I’ll talk to you all next time!
