Side Work

Since this week is spring break, I thought I’d write a little about a side project I’ve been working on in addition to my thesis.

Through my art Instagram and promotion by my very wonderful friends, I’ve been able to market and sell some of my jewelry. In my free time, I’ve been buying more materials for commissioned pieces and researching how to most accurately price my work for sale -there’s a lot of factors to consider, but tons of tips available on these topics on jewelry maker’s Instagrams and blogs.

I’ve also been looking into buying all of the equipment I’d need to continue my jewelry practice at home once I leave Marywood! Obviously, I’m making a list for that purpose: maybe I’ll share it soon.
