The study abroad trip to Paris, France over spring break is counted as a 3 credit studio elective. There are 3 studio requirements for the portfolio that is to be presented a few weeks after the trip. The portfolio needs to be made up of works that all relate to a central theme. We are expected to have completed 25 sketches and 25 photographs during the trip. There is also a final piece for the portfolio that needs relate to the theme and the experience of the trip. So far I have the sketches completed and the photographs edited and organized into a portfolio. My theme is based on interesting shapes that are created by light and shadow.
