Hi everyone! This week I am in the middle of working on multiple printmaking projects, so I don’t have much to share except some small side things I was working on. First, I had some miniature stamps that I carved out at the beginning of the semester in printmaking that I wanted to utilize again. They were carved out of erasers which I thought was a cool way to create linocuts and they are such easy, cute little stamps! I had a postage stamp that says XOXO, and a stamp with 2 hammerhead sharks in a circle. I think they are so cute, so I knew I had to use them again.
The AFA Gallery in downtown Scranton is hosting an art sale and fundraiser in November 2026 called Small Art BIG DEAL, an innovative event that will fill the AFA Gallery with as many donated 3” x 3” works of art as its walls can hold. Artwork of emerging artists will be interspersed with that of established artists, so when Professor Sue Jenkins asked my class if anyone wanted to participate and donate a piece of artwork, I thought it was the perfect chance to use my stamps again! I had so much fun playing around on the canvases and also on paper, so here’s what I came up with using my stamps and different colored inks.

The XOXO stamp is perfect for layering and creating cards, so I will definitely be using it again, and the sharks are just so cute I will definitely be making more mini canvases like this with simple eraser stamps!
As another side thing a little different from printmaking, I wanted to show my recent prototypes for one of my other classes, Design Business & Production. The whole semester we were tasked with rebranding a chain restaurant, and I chose Ruby Tuesday. I made it into a dog friendly and casual family restaurant where I have my boyfriend’s dog, whose name is Ruby, as the mascot and logo! So here are some coasters and gift cards that I spent time prototyping into actual products that I thought came out so cool, as well as my other mockups all together.

That’s all I have this week, next week I should have some finished printmaking projects to share! Thanks for reading!
If you were to make miniature stamps out of erasers, what would be the first thing you would carve? I think my next few are going to be more sea creatures like the shark!
