Piggybacking on last week’s post, I’d like to share my storyboard for Top of the Food Chain with you guys today.

When creating a storyboard I like to think of it as my jumping off point on a project. The storyboard is the broad idea of what I want to accomplish in my design chopped down into a readable format. Will I get around using all of my ideas for the project? No. Time is always a factor, especially as I move forward into the more consuming work of animating and editing. This phase is where I can tweak everything to my liking, cut and add scenes, or simplify otherwise time engrossing ideas. I’m loving this project so far and have begun searching for a soundtrack as well, and while we head into spring break I’ll have plenty of time to workout my vision.
