Student Spotlight: Danielle Shields

Meet Danielle!

Name: Danielle Shields

Year you’ll be graduating: Class of 2021

Major: Graphic Design

Minor(s): Forensics

I am majoring in Art because it gives me the ability to express any ideas I have in mind in a creative way.

The kinds of things that inspire me are great music and lots of coffee gives me the inspiration and ability to design art.

My favorite class so far was Graphic Design! Typography is a close second since it was also very interesting to me.

When I’m not in class I am playing soccer for the Marywood Women’s Soccer Team or watching lots of tv.

The coolest thing I’ve done so far at Marywood was find lifelong friends and create memories with them!

When I graduate I hope to have a job working in Advertisement or Logo Branding.

I’d recommend the Art program at Marywood because it allows you to discover what medium you like to work best in and the classes and professors give you the opportunity to express yourself.

The best spot to be on campus is the Learning Commons, where you get to spend time with friends and get the work you need done.
