UNIQUE PERSPECTIVES: ILLUSTRATIONS by DON MURRAY of SCRANTON and BEYOND

The current art exhibition in the Suraci Gallery is hosting local artist, Don Murray. His collection of artworks are pen and ink drawings with watercolor paintings. Included with the show are illustrations of recognizable landscapes and buildings from Scranton as well as buildings that are no longer here.

When visiting the show an art catalog is included to learn more about the illustrations historic locations as well as architecture facts on the buildings. The artist shows that he has an understanding of architecture which shows he has a great knowledge of buildings to render them precisely in his illustrations. It is a great opportunity to see what local artist are doing and where they find their inspiration from. Below are images of artworks that are included in the show.
