Hello everyone! I hope you’ve had a great week! This week I’m going to share some photographs with you from my adventure with my Uncle from Virginia this past weekend.

My Uncle recently came up to visit as he has a house that he is fixing up. Before he left to go back home we met up to take some photographs.

He wanted to take photographs from the Nicholson Bridge and it’s shadows on what we call Spadine’s Flats. He also wanted to try to take pictures of the comet at night, but he wasn’t sure if we would be able to see it.

I jumped at the opportunity to take photographs with my uncle because it’s been a while since I’ve seen him last. My uncle headed up to the bridge at around 7:30 pm to get a good view of the shadows of the bridge with the sun setting. I headed up at around 8:00 pm because I got caught up running errands.

I was honestly so afraid to go up on the bridge because I’m terrified of heights. But once I got up there it really wasn’t that bad because I couldn’t see straight down from the bridge.

The view from the bridge was breathtaking. I was taken back by the view both of the train tracts itself how the go on and on as well as the view while looking of the side of the bridge.

Here are some of the photographs I took of the bridge from my phone. I choose not to take my camera because I wasn’t sure how nervous I would be standing on the bridge and looking over the side.

After we took the photographs on the bridge. We went and took pictures of the comet. We could only see it through the camera though. I didn’t take any pictures of the comet, I just watched the night sky and told my uncle when cars were coming so he knew when to take a photo and when not to.

That’s all for this week! Stay Safe! Stay Healthy! I’ll talk to you all next week!
