This past weekend I went on a little trail excursion with a good friend. We biked out from my apartment and rode a trail not entirely too far away, considering the out of season weather we had had it seemed a worthwhile way to spend the day. Considering it had rained a bit lately it was fortunate that most of the trail was either paved or fairly dry, despite some of it being too muddy to traverse. Although I tried to not be too distracted with my camera, I did take the time to shoot a few photographs where the trail was closest to the Roaring Brook. The main attraction of interest was the intricate lines the bare trees wove against the background of the pale sky, aside from that a small group of geese was making their way downstream, all of this being complemented by the auburn color of the undergrowth.
