This weekend I took a much needed trip to the shores of New Jersey. Wildwood, NJ to be more exact. While the nice sandy beaches provided a relaxing environment for thought, it was the neon signs that made the trip worth it.
The vibrant colors called to me like a insect ready to be zapped, although once I reached the destination it left less to be desired. The fading of color and decay of the once prominent signs made the experience all the better and reminded me of my own work. Struggling with the constant effort of making something so ugly into a thing to be desired.
