I finally completed another painting! It took forever but it’s done and the client loves it! This painting was challenging because I had to come up with a composition that works with the shoes. He wanted a fantasy-like painting with shoes melting. I tried to give it a Salvador Dali surrealism technique. I just made the painting extremely colorful because I think that’s my style poking through.

Once I had the background completed the shoes had to be done. I drew them in once the client sent me pictures of the shoes he wanted. Unlike the last commission I did where the shoes were on a larger scale; this painting had smaller shoes making it harder to fit in detail. It took some time but I feel like it captures what he was looking for. Overall I’m very happy with another commission done.
