This past week I was very fortunate and had my very first opportunity to take a trip out of the country! I traveled down to the Caribbean Island of Barbados and it was truly a dream come true. I love anything that has to do with sun, sand, and huge bodies of water. My artwork definitely shows my love for ocean life and this trip inspired me especially for some upcoming projects I will be working on in a few of my classes and outside of my classes as well.

I managed to snag a few great photos when I was there that truly inspired me as well. I am beyond obsessed with these four photos!

I am a strong believer that traveling feeds the soul and mind and I could not be anymore thankful and blessed from this trip! As always, I learned a great deal not only about this beautiful inspiring island but also about myself and I cannot wait to incorporate my newly gained knowledge and experiences within my upcoming works.
