So last week I went to Paris! It was an amazing week and we saw so much art! It still seems so unreal that I was there. We walked so much nearly 8 miles everyday, maybe more than that, so my feet were hurting really bad haha.
The first day we went to the Musee d’Orsay. It used to be an old train station so it had the amazing high ceilings and these amazing clocks that were see-through. We had a few hours in there but the little group I was in went to see the Impressionist works on the 5th floor. Oh my gosh I was in love with all the painting and sculptures that’s we saw! I was in awe because it was many pieces that I have either already learned about or am learning about now in my art history classes. It was so much to take in, and I still have not fully processed everything I saw.
We visited over six museums and I have stories and pictures from all of them! It was so much art that it is starting to run together! Thank goodness that I took photos and that way I can remember which one I saw each paintings at. I have never saw as many famous paintings in my life and to be honest I never thought I would get to Paris. I really cannot believe it. I would absolutely go again in a heartbeat. I definitely fell in love with Paris. The jet lag was not fun at all and I am currently still dealing with it being back haha. I woke up at 4 in the morning wide awake when I got home. That’s not fun at all. If you ever get a chance to go there I would say do it !! Go there’s as many times as you possible can! Next week I’ll talk about the Louvre because I have a lot to write about that!

This is what the outside of the muesum looked like. It definitely still resembles the outside of a train station.
