Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great week! This week I am going to share my photographs from a recent project in my Advertising and Illustration Class.
For this project we had to find a subject to photograph throughout the day so we could see how the different times of day along with the sun affected the outcome of a photograph. My professor assigned this project in two parts. The first part was to find a subject to photograph that faced South with your camera faced North. Once we found our subject we had to set our camera up so the crop was the same throughout the day. After the camera was set up we had to take a photograph in the morning before 9:30, in the afternoon between 12:00 and 1:30, and in the evening after 5:30.
For this part I photographed a house on my grandparent’s property on my dad’s side of the family. Here are the results.
For the second part of the project we had to photograph another subject that faced the South while our cameras faced the North. This time we had to photograph them at sunrise, midday, and sunset. In all honesty taking the photograph at sunrise was the hardest part of this project because I am not a morning person. The only time I am a morning person is when I’m going on vacation. I photographed my dad’s house for this part, and here is how they come out.
That’s all for this week! Stay Safe! Stay Healthy! I’ll talk to you all next week!
