This year was my first year attending Marywood’s Christmas tree lighting held below the rotunda. It was a truly amazing experience and I am happy I decided to attend. Marywood seemingly never fails to bring the community together to enjoy festivities and make everyone really seem like family.

From the snacks and drinks, to the bands outstanding performance, I will not forget that evening when I saw the Christmas tree light up in a magical way that is hard to describe.

I watched the lighting from the second floor where I was able to look down at the tree and also get a great photo of the top of the three along with the rotunda paintings to truly capture Marywood’s environment, and I am happy I chose that spot.
