I always like walking around for a little while during First Friday each month in downtown Scranton. I’ve never been along the whole route but I always make a stop at the AFA Gallery. It often has works displayed by artists that I know. There was a wide variety of pieces this month – paintings, political cartoons, sculptures etc. I highly recommend seeing it if you have the chance.

There was also a fun set up down Bogart Place with shops and stands and a new shop with giant heads of The Office characters. I had a great time with friends and am excited to go back in October with a Halloween theme taking over downtown.
