Holiday Baking

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday even under the circumstances of this crazy year.

Since I live with my parents I was still able to have a holiday surrounded by family. It was nice, but it was different in the same aspect. My out of state family didn’t come in to celebrate with us, so it was a little quiet but we can’t change that.

For the holiday my family and I did a lot of baking. More than we usually do and my only response to that is “ It’s 2020.” Meaning it’s been a crappy year so far, let’s make the best of it and pig out on desserts.

For my dads family we had cookie bars, both chocolate chip and peanut butter. And at my moms we had five different pies! Yes, you read that correctly. Five pies. We made so many because we all like different types of pies.

As we were baking I took some photographs. Of course I did, right? I’m always taking photographs of everything for the photo-a-day assignment I’m continually working on.
