One Last Ride

Hello Everyone! This week I am going to share photographs of riding horses last weekend. I didn’t do much this past week except for finish up my online Summer II session and start getting my supplies around for next semester.

Last weekend we woke up fairly early, ate breakfast, and started gathering the horses around before it got too hot out. We took two of our horses out, Sunshine and Ember. Ember is the darker colored horse while Sunshine is lighter in color, you will see the difference in up coming photographs.

There was a bunch of us riding so we all had to take turns, I let my younger siblings go first. While they were riding the horses I took pictures of them. When it was my turn to ride I gave my phone to my mom, and she took pictures at the worst possible moment. I take great pictures of them, but then when I want my picture taken its an okay quality. I find this happens very often, but then maybe I’m just picky about how my photographs come out.

When I finally got to ride a horse I chose Sunshine to ride. She is my favorite, but don’t tell the other horses. There is a special feeling you get when you sit on top of a horse and go for a ride. When I ride the horses I feel all of my pent up stress and anger leaving my body, I become instantly relaxed. My relaxation makes me want to never get off a horse, but I know I have to. Its not good for them to be rode for a long time because they over heat really easily.
