Our Natural Call to Art Therapy
Who: Fourteen Marywood Art Therapy Students
When: February 16th – March 21st, 2018
Where: Suraci Gallery
Our Natural Call to Art Therapy is an exhibition currently on display in the Suraci Gallery at Marywood University. It focuses on works from fourteen art therapy students at Marywood University. Works in the exhibition come from students Allison Ham, Alexis Ledner, Alexis Leonard, Jennifer Matthes, Kristie McNeill, Shannon Murphy, Ashley Myers, Lauren Nicholson, Paige Owings, Sarah Pfiel, Sarah Schaeffer, Ashley Smith, Rachel Stump, Sonia Varela, and Noreen Vogel. These students are all part of the Marywood University Student Art Therapy Association (MUSATA), a department club for undergraduate and graduate art therapy students.
The works created by the students highlight their love for their major and include a quote to reflect how art therapy contributes to each individual’s life.
The opening reception happened on February 17th from 4-6PM. If you missed the opening reception, don’t fret! It’s not too late! The exhibition will be up from now until March 21, 2018. I’m going to go later this week, and you should too! Grab a friend and check it out!
