Hey everyone, I hope y’all had a great week. This will be a bit of a shorter post, again. I wanted to share with you guys a photo book (my first time making one!) I did for my travel writing course at Marywood University.

At first, I wasn’t really sure how I wanted to set up the book. I knew I wanted some writing to go along with the black and white photos, but I wasn’t sure how much writing or how many images to include. I ended up naming my book “Light and Dark: Capturing Irish Landscape with 35mm Film” and you can view it by clicking on this link (it’s 20 pages long and you can flip through the whole book by clicking on ‘PREVIEW’).

I really wanted to convey the moodiness and mystique of Irish landscape through enhancing the lights and darks in Photoshop. I also ended up only using minimal text, just some of my own musings to accompany the images. I hope you guys get a chance to look at my book and that you have a great week!
