On June 15, my partner, Sebastian, had a power-lifting competition in Allentown. I took this as an opportunity to do photography I never get the chance to do.
This competition was exactly has it sounds- people of different weight classes doing nothing but squats, bench presses, and dead-lifts.
In the end, Sebastian and his team did beyond a phenomenal job. Not only did Sebastian get second place for his weight class, but his friend Evan got first for the same weight class. A lot of other team members got first place for their class.
Although a power-lifting event may seem boring, there was a lot of emotions. I witnessed a lot of meaningful pep talks, a lot of laughs, and a lot of pride, and I am happy I was there to capture those moments.
