This week I decided to keep practicing carving out line work from linoleum blocks. I drew a quick design on the linoleum to carve out. I made it with thin and curved lines so that I could focus on detail and control.
I like to believe that my carvings have gotten better but my designs never look as clean cut as other artists that I see online and on social media.

One of my problems is that I tend to change the amount of pressure that I put on the linoleum cutter. Through my practice I’ve been able to take note of what I could improve on. I know what some of my problems are and I’m working on fixing them.
