NOW ON VIEW: From September 11th to October 22nd, Marywood is hosting a printmaking exhibition in the Mahady Gallery. This exhibition is entitled “Printmaking: Process, Art and Statement”. This exhibit takes an educational approach showcasing the variety of printmaking and printing processes through a collection of privately owned prints from various artists, posters, and student and faculty work. The works selected display all kinds of pieces from traditional printmaking to commercial offset printing. Some sub-categories in the exhibit include social issue posters, works from a print portfolio exchange, and a display of tools used in this craft to help the viewer understand the process.
This exhibition will be open for about another month, so I highly recommend visiting if you are able. It is an extremely unique and impressive exhibition with a huge variety of pieces and displays available for viewing.
