This past week I finally finished my promise ring. I had to buy a new opal because my old one cracked. The one I recently bought was a really good quality and the colors in the stone are amazing. The bezel had to be remade several times until I had it right. My biggest struggle is setting stones but I managed to get it to work this time.

At my job with Wisnosky Jewelers this summer, I learned how to fix my ring. One of the experienced jewelers there talked me through the process. I never thought I would finish my ring but I learned to set my opal and I couldn’t be happier. I feel like I’ve learned a lot from my mistakes and from others. I can’t wait to learn more this upcoming semester!
