Shape

Squares, circles, triangles, blobs, basically anything you can think of can break down into shapes. Shape is created two dimensionally and has many traits. Shape is also one of the eight Elements of Design and can be used in many ways to help when creating your artwork. It can aid in building up more complex aspects of your art and you can build off them. This is good when starting a sketch. You can start with shapes that certain objects would be, and continue to build up on top of them.
