Hi guys! I am very excited because if finally feels like spring; the weather is nice, classes are talking about “the last this and that,” I have a bunch of papers to write, the senior show opened, and the Stretch Conference is this week. Ok, I’m not excited about the papers but I am about our Stretch Conference this Thursday, April 21, 2016.
The Stretch Conference is also known as the Creativity Conference and it happens here at Marywood. It is an exciting day for creatives to come together and learn more about art and design. We will have 4 speakers this year, so there will be a lot to learn. It is a great opportunity to further our education from designers in many different fields. It will be great to not only hear them speak, but also to interact with the speakers and also with other members of the creative community that will attend. I am already getting questions together to ask!
So be there or be square! It’s happening this Thursday from 1-4pm in the Swartz center. Make sure to register! You can either do this online or by getting a paper from one of the Marywood Professors. Here is the poster with more information:
