Student Spotlight: Alexandria Curll

Meet Alexandria!

Name:  Alexandria Curll

Year you’ll be graduating: Class of 2025

Major: Art Therapy

Minor(s): Art History

I am majoring in Art because I love the idea of being able to help people find their own love for art. As well as being able to help people in the future.

The kinds of things that inspire me are imperfections in everyday life. I like making said imperfections beautiful.

My favorite class so far was 2D Design with Dennis Corrigan.

When I’m not in class I am either drawing on my IPad or making little watercolor paintings for my roommates.

The coolest thing I’ve done so far at Marywood was meeting new people in and out of my major.

When I graduate I want to work as an Art Therapist in a children hospital and work with the long term patients.

I’d recommend the Art program at Marywood because it is a very encouraging atmosphere, and helped me fall in love with art more than I thought I could.

The best spot to be on campus is the bench behind the library.
